ADHD: Overview, characteristics, and treatments
People suffering from ADHD ( Attention deficiency hyperactivity problem) especially children usually have trouble paying attention, controlling impulsive behaviors (may act without thinking about what the result will be), or be overly active.
People having ADHD problems have difficulty focusing on tasks & maintaining their attention at work. ADHD can limit a person’s ability to study or work, and which might lead them to stress, anxiety, depression, & so on.
Some with ADHD find it even hard to sit still, they may be quick to act on impulse and become easily distracted.
As per the reports children (at any age) can experience distractions, impulsiveness, and similars, these traits are more noticeable in the children having issues with ADHD.
Scientists are studying cause(s) and risk factors in an effort to find better ways to manage and reduce the chances of a person having ADHD. According to some Professional-Experts, lots of children struggling with ADHD may not get the proper diagnosis because they don’t tend to disrupt their classroom. Mostly this happens with girl children.
Genes, smoking, consuming alcohol, drugs, Brain injuries, etc. are the major causes of Attention Deficiency Hyperactivity Problem (ADHD)
