Ranking the Raiders best coaching candidates to replace Jon

Injuries have decimated the wide receiver position the past Jeff Mathis Jersey  few weeks, and with teams either out of playoff contention or hoping to get healthy for the postseason, we're seeing key guys get shut down seemingly everywhere. This past week, Chris Godwin was added to that list, and his absence creates a hole at the top of our Week 16 fantasy WR PPR rankings.

Breshad Perrimanwill step in to fill it, but we all know he's not as dependable as Godwin (hamstring) or Mike Evans (hamstring). After Perriman's three-TD game in Week 15, it doesn't feel like he's a risk against Houston, but you never know what will happen will those types of players late in the year.

That's why, especially in PPR leagues, it's important to have some reliable, high-target options in your lineup. The top of our rankings is littered with stud receivers in favorable matchups, as usual, but it doesn' Clay Buchholz Jersey t take long to get to guys who could just as easily be out of our top 36 with bad matchups. Mike Williams (vs. Raiders), Will Fuller (@ Buccaneers), and DK Metcalf (vs. Cardinals) are the type of "big-play" receivers we don't usually a sociate with PPR leagues, but all have the kind of matchups that should lead to good days, at least in yards and potential scores. They have to be in lineups, it's that simple.

On the high-target front, we're a little more worried about Julian Edelman (vs. Bills), Cooper Kupp (@ 49ers), and John Brown (@ Patriots) than usual given their matchups. Kupp has also been inconsistent lately, furthering worries there, though it helps that the 49ers are dealing with injuries all over their defense. Both Edelman and Kupp are still in the WR2 tier, so they should be in lineups, but you might have to take more chances with your WR3s.

Statistically, the Panthers allow the most receptions to WRs, so it could be a profitable day for T.Y. Hilton (calf) if he's healthy. The Cardinals also allow a lot of catches to receivers, which is another reason to like Metcalf (and obviously TylerLockett). The Ravens and Seahawks also rank in the top seven in WR catches,  Kole Calhoun Jersey so guys like Jarvis Landry, Odell Beckham Jr., and Christian Kirk could rack up a few more points in PPR leagues, but we worry about their QBsenough to limit them to WR2/3 status.

WEEK 16 DFS LINEUPS: | | | | |

The Chiefs, Bengals, Patriots, Broncos, and Chargers have allowed the fewest WR catches this year. The Chiefs being that low probably surprises people, and it definitely doesn't help the outlook of Allen Robinson and Anthony Miller. The former is a must-start, and the latter, who's been red hot over the Paul Goldschmidt Jersey  past five games, is going to be tough to sit, too. However, just know his upside is more limited than you might think. That's also true of Danny Amendola against the Broncos.

Reminder:  Check back for updatesduring the week.
