Broncos rookie QB Drew Lock isnt ready to go right now John

Don't expect a quarterback change in Denver quite yet despite a 2-5 start with veteran Joe Flacco under center.

Broncos general managerJohn Elway told reporters Thursday thatrookieDrew Lock isn't ready to return from injured reserve as he continues to recover from a thumb injury on his right (throwing) hand.

Coach Vic Fangio last week that Lock is expected to return to the practice field soon. He opened his NFL career on IR after spraining his thumb in a preseason lo s to the 49ers.
