What is AMR?

Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) is the ability of microorganisms like bacteria (causes pneumonia), viruses (HIV), and some parasites (Malaria) to stop antimicrobials such as antibiotics, antivirals and antimalarial respectively from working against it. As a result, standard treatments become ineffective.
