The NFL on Monday announced the return of the Madden NFL 22 x the HBCU Tournament with 16 winners going the to Madden 22 coins Los Angeles to compete against each other for the duration of Super Bowl LVI week.
The students from every one of across the Historically Black Colleges and Universities SWAC, MEAC, SIAC and CIAA conferences can register through December. 3 to participate in the dec. 5-single-elimination tournament to qualify for the competition.
"We are so thrilled to bring back this event for HBCU students and give them the opportunity for a once in a lifetime opportunity to go to Los Angeles during Super Bowl LVI Week," Natara Holloway, vice president of football strategy at the NFL and the release. "We are determined to increase the League's efforts for creating inclusive opportunities for the next generation of players by working with partners such as EA providing not only an opportunity for young athletes to play in the game, but also an opportunity to gain an understanding of the business aspects of football through learning as well as shadowing."
The 16 finalist will get to tour EA's West Coast studios in Los Angeles and take part on an "experienceship" through time spent with EA employees from different departments.
