Following the global economic impact of COVID-19, many people are more enthusiastic about how to make money from home. As a result, there has never been a better time to make money from home than now, especially with the explosion of online/remote jobs and the internet.
As weird as remote work seemed during the early days, it has pretty much usurped the conventional 9-5, thus creating more satisfied remote workers. Essentially, Owl labs reported in a 2021 study that 55% of the respondents admitted working more hours remotely. Also, 32% were willing to quit their jobs if they couldn’t continue working remotely. Similarly, a study from Becker Friedman institute of economics, University of Chicago, published a survey that 10,000 employees admitted being more productive because they worked from home. Furthermore, the same study stated that commuting time was reduced by 62.4 million hours daily, leading to an aggregate time of about 9 billion hours saved between mid-March and mid-September 2020.
