Do it ! I've just finished the base and I loved every second of it. I don't feel the need to rush because Ilevel sync makes it very difficult to finish WOW TBC Gold content from the past. The fact that there are other options to kill hoboing it up, such as chocobo racing as well, is great. My friends who have done the dungeons with me won't give up on an unclean slate, and will gladly help you out if it is needed.

I'm currently playing FF currently, but I'm not able to make an argument against ESO. They're both fun to play in their own manner. Final Fantasy feels more like a social game to me and its story is equally good or superior to any mainline Final Fantasy game. But, on the other hand, I believe that ESO lets you become more involved in the world. ESO is a great way to participate in the world if in a position to recognize your Nirn. Combat is the primary issue for a lot of players. FF feels more like WoW. ESO is much more like GW2 and later rounds in ESO appear a bit absurd in terms of length, but but from an execution standpoint.

They're both very cool and fit into different niches. Personally, I prefer the ESO story, however, I have played more Elder Scrolls games that I have Final Fantasy, so I am more acquainted with the stories and the references to them.

ESO is a more fluid housing system than FFXIV. ESO lets you tilt and float objects without needing to exploit bugs. It's all created in an instance (but big) so you don't have to contend with others over plots.

This isn't classical rock, but don't get too excited. Perhaps the first definition of classic rock was "rock that was older than 20 years" however this was only 20 years ago. For decades, "classic rock" has been a reference to "rock from the 60s, 70s, and maybe a bit of the 1980s". Classic rock has a specific sound. It is the sounds of Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Rolling Stones, etc. Nirvana and Metallica don't have that specific sound. Metallica doesn't have that specific sound in all circumstances, but Load and Reload do.

My local classic rock station incorporated music from the 1990s including alternative, grunge as well as mainstream metal. When they did change their title to "classic rock" and began calling themselves "rock". The genre tag doesn't fit their style anymore, even the fact that cheap WOW TBC Classic Gold it's still classic rock. They even called themselves "classic rock" and "90s rock" for a time.
