Our oil-filled screw compressors provide both fixed speed and variable speed drives. The advantages of both drivers depend on your unique business needs. The fixed speed compressor runs continuously, regardless of demand, and runs very efficiently at full load. Variable-speed compressors can increase or decrease output according to demand, and only use the required energy to provide the corresponding flow to generate compressed air.
When choosing a rotary air compressor, be sure to consider your operating needs. Variable speed drives can significantly improve energy efficiency, thereby saving costs, but if your application has constant demand, fixed speed compressors will perform better.
